Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data FDL collects, why, who can see it and the choices you have. Last updated: 10 October 2026.

1. Who we are

FDL is device financing software made by TechInspire International Pvt. Ltd. ("TechInspire", "we", "us"), 129, Kazmi Complex, Ambala Road, Saharanpur 247001, Uttar Pradesh, India. This policy covers the FDL apps, the FDL dashboard and the website fdlpro.com.

2. Who this policy covers

  • Financiers: businesses such as retailers, distributors and lenders that use FDL to sell devices on installments.
  • End Customers: people who buy a device on installments from a Financier, and whose device is enrolled in FDL.
  • Website visitors: anyone who visits fdlpro.com or fills in a form on it.

For End Customer data, the Financier decides why and how the data is used. TechInspire processes that data on the Financier's behalf to provide the FDL service. Questions about an installment plan should go to the Financier first.

3. Data we collect

From Financiers:

  • Account details: name, business name, Google account email used to sign in, phone number, address and the referral email used at sign-up.
  • Licence and payment records for the FDL service.

About End Customers, entered by the Financier:

  • Name, phone number and address.
  • Identity and financing documents uploaded by the Financier, such as KYC documents and the financing agreement.
  • Installment details: price, down payment, schedule and payment history.

From enrolled devices:

  • Device model, device identifiers and enrollment status.
  • Status of the FDL app and of device restrictions.
  • SIM change events, on supported Android devices.
  • Approximate device location, only as described in section 5.

FDL does not read the End Customer's messages, call content, photos or browsing history.

From website visitors:

  • Details you enter in our forms: name, company, phone or WhatsApp number, email, country, business type and your message.
  • Technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, and, with your consent where required, analytics and advertising cookies (see section 11).

4. How we use data

  • To provide FDL: enroll devices, keep installment records, send payment reminders and apply the device actions agreed in the financing agreement.
  • To store the Financier's customer documents securely.
  • To prevent fraud, for example by alerting the Financier to a SIM change.
  • To approve Financier accounts, provide support and send service messages.
  • To reply to demo requests and enquiries from the website, and to measure our website and advertising.
  • To meet legal obligations.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use End Customer data for our own marketing.

5. Device location

Some FDL Android products can show a Financier the approximate location of an enrolled, financed device. This helps the Financier contact a customer about an overdue installment or recover a device under the terms of the financing agreement.

  • Location is collected only from devices enrolled under an active financing agreement.
  • The End Customer is told about location collection in the financing agreement and in the FDL app at enrollment, and Android's location permission is requested on the device.
  • Only the Financier's authorised users can see the location of their own customers' devices.
  • Location collection stops when the final installment is paid and the device is released from FDL.

FDL must not be used to monitor any person outside the terms of a financing agreement.

Financiers may install FDL only on devices sold on finance. Before enrollment, the Financier must explain the device-management terms to the End Customer, including payment reminders, possible device restrictions on overdue payments and any data collected, and must get the End Customer's agreement in the financing contract. Financiers are responsible for following the consumer-finance and data-protection laws of their country. Restrictions are removed once the final installment is paid.

7. Sharing with third parties

We share data only when needed to run the service or when the law requires it:

  • The Financier sees the data of its own End Customers.
  • Service providers that host and run FDL for us, including cloud hosting, Google services such as Google Play and Firebase for app notifications, and email providers. They may use the data only to provide their service to us.
  • Website tools: Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and advertising tags (with consent where required), and a WhatsApp chat widget.
  • Authorities, when we are legally required to share data.

8. Storage and security

Data is stored on secure cloud servers. We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls so each Financier sees only its own data, and restricted staff access on a need-to-know basis. No system is completely secure, but we work to protect data from loss, misuse and unauthorised access.

9. How long we keep data

We keep data for as long as the Financier's account is active and as needed to provide the service. When a Financier closes its account, or asks us to delete data, we delete it within a reasonable time unless the law requires us to keep it longer. Website enquiries are kept for as long as needed to respond and follow up.

10. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to withdraw consent, and to complain to a data-protection authority.

11. Cookies on fdlpro.com

fdlpro.com uses cookies to measure traffic and the performance of our ads. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked for consent first, and these cookies stay off unless you click Accept. You can change your choice at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.

12. Children

FDL is a business tool and is not meant for children. We do not knowingly collect data from children through fdlpro.com.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is important, we will tell Financiers by email or in the app.
